Dosage by Plant Type
These are our recommended starting rates. Adjust based on your soil condition and plant response.
Vegetables
250g / sq.m
Work into top 10cm of soil before planting. Topdress monthly during growing season.
Fruit Trees
1–2kg / tree
Apply around the drip line and water in thoroughly. Repeat every 3 months.
Flowers
150g / sq.m
Mix into planting hole and topdress every 6 weeks for continuous blooming.
Houseplants
20% blend
Blend 20% vermicompost with 80% potting mix. Topdress monthly with a thin layer.
Lawn & Turf
100g / sq.m
Spread evenly and water in after application. Best applied in spring and autumn.
Seedlings
10% blend
Mix 10% vermicompost into seed-starting mix for stronger germination and root development.
Step-by-Step Application
Prepare Your Soil
Loosen the top 10–15cm of soil with a fork or tiller. Remove large stones and debris.
Measure & Apply
Weigh out the recommended amount for your plant type. Spread evenly over the soil surface.
Work It In
Gently mix the vermicompost into the top 10cm of soil. For established plants, work around the root zone.
Water Thoroughly
Water deeply after application to activate the microbial community and begin nutrient release.
